extrapyramidal effects
symptoms caused by a reduction of dopamine activity in the extrapyramidal system due to the adverse effects of dopamine receptor antagonists, notably phenothiazine antipsychotic drugs. These effects include parkinsonism, akathisia, and dyskinesia.
